On Saturday, January 7th, 2012, an American princess was born. Blue Ivy Carter, initial born, successor to a Throne that has roots resolutely cemented in the strive and farrago of Black America. Her dad, a Hip Hop superstar, one-time Marcy projects drug play and an symbol of a generation. Her mom, precious by men, women and children, was bred in upper-middle category environs.
With her parents impractical career, celebrity and wealth, it’s not startling that Blue’s bieing born has caused such a media frenzy. People go funny over lovable nobody babies on Youtube all the time. Mix that with the over the tip emotions typically expelled by Jay and Bey fans and you have the best charge of pile media hype.
But whilst the open gets swept divided with daydream newborn showering gifts and swindling theories, you might be so queasy that you skip the loyal stress of Blue’s coming. While whispers of Illuminati are over the top, there is of course more to newborn Blue, or the effect her participation has on Black America and mainstream media, than meets the eye.
